We are now accepting film entries for the 2016 editions of A Design Film Festival (DFF) and FoodCine.ma. Whether you’re a filmmaker or from the film community, we like to receive your submissions and nominations of films for DFF, focused on design and its subcultures, and FoodCine.ma, a festival that looks at the culture of food.

Entry requirements

  • Films must have been produced between January 2014 to February 2016.
  • There are two categories for entries:
    • Short films (less than 30 mins)
    • Feature-length films and documentaries (more than 30 mins)
  • While we accept films that have premiered elsewhere, it will be a consideration in our final selection. We prefer films to make an Asian premiere, but at minimum, the film must maintain a ‘Southeast Asia’ premiere status prior to our festivals screenings.

Submission requirements

  • All films must be submitted via a password-protected streaming URL link. Links and password must remain active through 01 June 2016.
  • Non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted.
  • There is no entry fee. We offer a screening fee for all selected feature films and documentaries and will also cover any costs of shipping the film materials to us.
