INFORMATION
A Design Film Festival (DFF), Asia's first film festival dedicated to screening films that focus on design and its subculture, is making its return in Singapore for the seventh edition. Since the inception of DFF in 2010, the festival has seen over 100,000 attendees in more than 10 cities worldwide including New York, Portland, Berlin, Seoul and Bangkok. The 2016 edition of the film festival in Singapore was attended by a record-setting 11,700 people.
Founded and organised by design studio Anonymous, DFF remains an independent initiative with no corporate sponsorships or government funding.

FESTIVAL OPENING TITLES
Director Sebastian Lange returns to direct this year's opening titles. We're proud that several of Lange's work with DFF since 2011 were winners at the Type Directors Club New York and the HKDA Global Design Awards.

COLLABORATIONS
Our friends at Creamier and Papa Palheta have joined forces to create an awesome range of desserts and beverages that will be available on screening days at Capitol Theatre from 20 and 29 October.

DFF ON SINGAPORE AIRLINES
From November till December 2017, DFF will take to the sky with a selection of 10 films from DFFSG2017 screened exclusively onboard KrisWorld, Singapore Airlines' award-winning inflight entertainment system.

In this new documentary film, director Kaspar Astrup Shröder follows Ingels for seven years and captures a previously unseen sense of fragility in the architecturalprodigy as he sets up BIG's second studio in New York, suffers from debilitating health problems, and falls in love.

What is A Design Film Festival?
A Design Film Festival is a film festival on design and its subcultures. It is the first film festival in Asia dedicated solely to design.
How do I collect my tickets?
Ticket collection is simple. Once your order is complete, an order confirmation will be emailed to you that allows you to collect physical tickets during the festival. All you have to do is bring a copy of this email (either printed or through your mobile phone) to collect all the tickets that you've booked.
Remember, this is a free-seating event, so come down early to get the best seats. We recommend registering at least 30 mins before show time.

How late can I get tickets?
Online ticket sales closes 12 hours before each screening. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door during the festival through cash payment only.
How is the booking fee calculated?
The booking fee is charged at 3.9% + $0.50 per transaction. So, the more tickets you get, the more you'll save. Bulk discounts are also available and you can read more below.
Do you have discounted tickets for bulk orders?
Yes, we do! All orders of 20 tickets and above entitles you to a 10% discount. Orders of 50 tickets and above entitles you to a 15% discount.
Do you do exchanges or refunds?
There are no cancellations or refunds of tickets purchased however, exchange requests are accepted up to 48 hours before your first film. Physical tickets which have been collected can not be exchanged. Exchanges are chargeable at $2.50 per ticket changed.
What happens when a screening is sold out?
When tickets for a screening is no longer available, they will be listed as Rush Tickets (also known as last-minute tickets). The Rush System functions as a stand-by line that will form 30 minutes before showtime at the venue. Approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled showtime, empty seats are counted and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to those in line. Rush ticket prices are the same as regular tickets and there is a limit of two tickets per person.
