Herb & Dorothy

Herb & Dorothy tells the extraordinary story of Herbert Vogel, a postal clerk, and Dorothy Vogel, a librarian, who managed to build one of the most important contemporary art collections in history with very modest means. Over 45 years, they had amassed over 4000 works by many Minimalist and Conceptual art visionaries in their one-bedroom apartment. Filmmaker Megumi Sasaki turns her lens on the Vogels during a critical period of transition for the couple and their cherished collection.
